2139 St Rt 125 Amelia, OH – Over 15 acre site in Monroe Township, OH

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

When completed, the 15+ acre property located at 2139 State Route 125 in Amelia, Ohio, known as Veterans’ Village, will feature 19 apartment units (16 – 1 Bedroom Units and 3 – 2 Bedroom Units), greenspace, and a community clubhouse. The Village will fill a critical need in the region, offering housing opportunities to homeless veterans or veterans at risk of being homeless. All units will be required to maintain Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and be LEED Certified, which means the buildings will not only be comfortable for occupants, but also energy efficient. Clermont Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) owns the land and is leasing it to its non-profit company, Clermont Housing Corporation (CHC), which serves as the project developer.  CMHA will manage the day-to-day activities at the property.
